Our heart is broken that this has happened and we feel we have no words to help your beautiful family. We only got to see each other a few times through the years, as we are neighbors here in Florida to Pat and Vince. Please know we are sending all our love and prayers to Pat, Vince, Billy, Nick, Saffron and Charlotte. Kelly, The Close will a sad place without your bubbly enthusiasm for life (not to mention your delicious cupcakes!) We will miss the spontaneous get togethers for cocktails, endless flavours of biltong, BBQ’s and impromptu meals out. Your company and friendship will be missed greatly especially on our adventures away such as the Isle of Wight…Luna and Lexi are already asking where you are! You can rest peacefully knowing that Nick, Saffron and Charlotte will always have somewhere they can pop over to at any time for anything.

Today is my birthday so an special day to think about Kelly and all her love for everybody around her, and feel specially greatful for having her and her family as a friend. I remember with special love the beautiful cake she made for my eldest daughter's birthday. This simple gest pictures how she was: always nice and kind, trying to feel everybody welcome. Dear Kelly, you are in the perfect place, no doubt about it. Us that love you will miss and remember you forever.

I just wanted to express my gratitude for having met and shared a friendship with Kelly. She not only opened up her heart and friendship to me, but also her home and precious family. I have so many cherished memories with Kelly, Nick, Saffron and Charlotte that I hold near and dear. She left this world far too soon, but she lives on not only through her beautiful daughters, but in everyone that she touched during her life. May her spirit shine bright through us all and may we all know that we are changed for the better because of Kelly. Miss and love you my friend.
